Monthly Archives: August 2023
Who would have thought this alpaca loving, horse loving little girl would be 3 already? With another one due in December – we know it will be a little sister – life goes on regardless and time just flies!
Pity in August we had a freak storm with hail but it cleared and she had a fab party!
and what little girl cannot live without a yellow Octopus – well done Mitchell
I have never seen a “grazing table” before but it went down a treat on the day!
and a happy birthday happy cake
What can I say about the cria drop this year? Difficult to choose names for such fantastic colours – with the exception of the odd throwback which always happens in Alpaca (and he is still beautiful) our stud boys just keep on producing fantastic fleeces, conformation, temperaments and .. colours!
Kensmyth highly recommend the Thames Head near Coates and we have been a few times, taking visitors there. You are better off booking though in the Summer months unless you want to miss out!
Marion, bestie from New Zealand and I enjoyed an early lunch there this month – wicked Banoffee pie, Chicken Skewers, Fish and loads for Vegetarians too!
well with the cria all down it is time to sneak a few visitors in and get out a little bit when the weather is cooler.. best to keep fit Mum – loving the Deer Park with fawns in Oaksey but an uphill walk1
With the weather being wet, windy, showers, wet, windy, showers and so on.. try the Freke Arms at Highworth if you like a hearty meal and good service..
That is Halloumi fries and Calamares..
A very large burger with chicken burger on top.. and
A very large mixed Grill
Welcome to our fourth girl at Kensmyth Alpaca Clay Meadow.. final tally more girls than boys in our cria drop!
warning to all alpaca owners with cria still due to watch out for the inclement weather and wind warnings!
