I have seen some rain in my years but there is nothing like the smell of blossom and bluebells

but when it gets muddy you can get some really funny livestock photos…

well thank you to everyone clients, friends, family for all your birthday wishes and gifts – we had a good time!

I especially loved the Ginger cake brought to me in the morning by a friend in the Village and trust me it was gone by teatime Yum…

and the loving card that my hubby bought me (until my sons pointed out it looked like “Wives” plural lol)

but I especially loved the animal themes for all the livestock we have on farm and the Wine cards too…

we had cards from all over the UK and numerous from abroad from clients too so Thank YOU.

April has crept upon us – how did that happen, times flies by and days are longer meaning out later too – this weather is bliss. I said we would pay for it and apparently this week will turn back time to winter hail, rain, snow again!

But today on April Fools Day we had the elegant and beautiful… then Daisy due to the wind…

and I feel her pain because my hair is as wild as this in the wind LOL… she tries so hard to look beautiful too!

most of our readers know I love Angel cake. it is not for those with a sweet tooth because it is very plain but Mothers Day found me being presented one from my Mum – thanks Mum. lovely day had by all…

well after a weeks halter training refresher course, the boys are back in action, castrated and ready to work; we are so pleased with them, now to halter training the rest of the cria from scratch!

well we have been preparing the livestock (and the humans) for photoshoots with much hilarity… teasing out tangled manes from the wind and straw from the fleeces where the alpaca have been in…

and there is always one who “photobombs” the picture…

and this is what size 14.5 shoes look like next to size 11’s folks!
