getting on with the jobs and still great expectations

we have been busy and getting feed and hay in for the (hopefully) last few months of “winter” and saying goodbye to three stunning boys after their initial “halters on”…

  we wish their new owners well and every enjoyment of these super trio of stunning Alpaca eye candy

Logo permissions granted for our “Society” page

well, as most know permission has to be granted for use of Official Society Logos. I always think that it is good to get publicity, especially for Rare Breeds but there you have it, some Societies just do not give permission for anyone to use their logos despite needing the publicity.

so, whilst we are members of other Societies, have a look at our new Society page which gives direct links to the all important details of the livestock and poultry we hold so dear… click on the Homepage on Society to the right hand side and each will take you to its own Website. Easy!

routine husbandry in the wet wet wet

Well no soon as we dry out, we get wet again. Inevitably this means that wet Alpaca locks dry into mud which although sad to remove, have to be because they turn into muddy hanging pencils…

Bay city Rollers at Kensmyth

Greyface Dartmoor have a certain appeal for sure but I did think of the Bay City Rollers when I did the routine husbandry and took a closer look at their fleeces…
